数据说明

Comma delimited metadata file with 1047 observations. Medication data are encoded with the highest ATC classifiction available. 

Location :geographic location of participant, Irish or Canadian

Age_in_years : Age of participant at the time of samplecollection in years, numeric

Sex : Biological sex, male or female

Alcohol : Alcohol consumption, 1=more than 2 units/day, 2=less than 2 units/day, 3=none

Smoking : Smoking status; 1=never,2=ex,3=current

IBD_Subtype : IBD diagnosis; Ulcerative colitic (UC) or Crohn’'s disease (CD)

Disease_Activity :active is defined as fecal ccalprotectin of ≥250 µg/g; active or inactive

HFD_Index :Healthy food diversity index; numeric

Years_since diagnosis, numeric

Resection : Surgical resection of ileum or colon, 1:yes, 0:no

Number_of_Supplements, numeric

Number_of_Medications , numeric

unknown: pharmacological substance could not be determined

other_supplement:supplement had no ATC classifier

probiotic; supplement contains probiotic bacteria
